A sacred week of cleansing, nourishment, and deep restoration through the wisdom of Ayurveda.
September 21–27, 2026 · Lava Hot Springs, Idaho · $44/day, all meals included
Ayurveda — the science of life — teaches that true healing begins when we simplify. When we quiet the noise, feed the body what it needs, and create space for what wants to emerge. This retreat is that space.
Over the course of a week, you'll be held in a rhythm of yoga, nourishing food, plant medicine, and open time — supported by Willow, Joseph, and a community of all who gather: men, women, and children walking the path together. Come as you are. Leave transformed.
Come for a single day of reset, or stay for the full week of deep transformation. The cleanse meets you where you are. Choose any number of days between September 21–27.
Camping is included with your retreat — pitch your tent and fall asleep to the sounds of the land. For those who prefer a roof overhead, cabin accommodation is available for an additional cost.

Every meal during your cleanse will be a lovingly prepared bowl of kitchari — an ancient Ayurvedic staple made from split mung dal and basmati rice, seasoned with warming spices like turmeric, cumin, coriander, and ginger. Simple. Grounding. Deeply healing.
Complete Protein
Mung dal and rice together form a complete amino acid profile, giving your body all it needs to repair and rebuild without taxing your digestive system.
Digestive Rest
The mono-diet principle is profound: when your gut processes the same simple food each day, it no longer works overtime sorting complex combinations. That energy flows back into healing.
Deep Detox
Kitchari is tri-doshic — it balances all three Ayurvedic constitutions. The spices kindle agni (digestive fire), break up ama (toxic accumulation), and gently draw impurities out of the tissues.
Anti-inflammatory
Turmeric, ginger, and coriander are powerful anti-inflammatory allies. Daily kitchari calms systemic inflammation, supports liver function, and soothes the nervous system.
Our kitchari is made with organic ghee — clarified butter used in Ayurveda for thousands of years as a supreme medicine. Through the clarification process, all milk solids and lactose are removed, making it easy to digest and suitable for those with dairy sensitivities. For those who prefer a fully plant-based option, coconut oil makes a beautiful and equally nourishing substitute — just let us know.
Ghee carries the medicinal qualities of herbs deeper into cells, kindles digestive fire without aggravating pitta, and nourishes the gut lining. During a cleanse, it acts as a carrier for toxins — pulling fat-soluble impurities out of the tissues and escorting them toward elimination. It is, quite simply, liquid gold.
Each day you'll receive a custom tea or herbal infusion blended specifically for your Ayurvedic constitution and health intentions. Before your retreat begins, Willow will identify your dosha — whether you run hot and fiery (pitta), light and airy (vata), or cool and steady (kapha) — and craft a blend that supports your unique cleansing journey.
These teas deepen the work of the kitchari, support organ systems that need attention, and offer a daily ritual of care: pause, breathe, sip, receive.
Beyond the anchoring rhythm of yoga and meals, the week offers a gentle menu of optional offerings — each one an invitation, never an obligation. Follow your energy. Trust your body. Let the retreat meet you exactly where you are.
The hot springs are yours to soak in at your leisure — a living medicine unto themselves, drawing out what no longer serves you.
Three guides walk alongside you this week, each holding a different thread of the work.
